Self-portrait with Hasselblad camera. The three starbursts in this image are all natural from the natural sunlight. I do very little manipulating of images and never to convey something other than what is there, like a starburst.

Brief Bio

Below is a fuller biography which I will dd to as I can. But here is a summary.

Having enjoyed dairy farming, I left to go to join the Church Army, part of the Anglian church. From there various jobs from working at a Bible College, studying Theology at Spurgeons while being a milkman and warden at a block of elderly people. Joining a large water company as they were nationalised for a good few years. Moving onto a consultant at the world’s largest accountancy and consultancy company.

In the late 90s a computer college employed me. A large British charity, Bible Society was an interesting time. There followed three years obtaining a degree in ‘Photography and Specialist Digital Imaging’. I took the course aiming to master Photoshop. This was accomplished yet the outcome was a love for film photography, especially B&W.

Wanting to contribute more after helping with mental health support at Uni and later at a college I took a Post Grad Diploma in Mental Health and had a very interesting few years working at various locations.

From becoming a Christian around my twenty first birthday, a very active church in London in the eighties and until recently a close walk with Jesus has always been important to me, even if not always successful.

I have three wonderful children and the families they are joined to. Sadly, my marriage to their mother was difficult and we divorced.
About ten years ago I met a lady who has been my dear companion every day since and we enjoy each other’s company.

For more if you want then I will add to the full bio below when I can.

The day after I left school, I was driving a tractor and although my day was supposed to finish at 5pm I carried onto 6.30pm, I loved it. Life was wonderful yet hard. Dad in hospital for six weeks leaving mum to farm with my brother while I was at school. we also experienced some terrible times, one causing us huge financial and emotional trauma caused by a dishonest cattle trader.

Devon
When I was about nineteen from the top of a hill surrounded by family farms, we were the last to leave, swallowed up by a huge corporation buying farms for their pension fund. We moved to a bigger farm in Devon.

With amazing views such as yes Tor and High Willhays on Dartmoor life was wonderful. Playing tennis, cricket, football and badminton when not working with some lovely (rather fast) cars life was good. However, before leaving Surrey, I had been searching for some spiritual answers. I looked at many areas but found none. spiritually
